Local dancehall legendary singer Treka Man has expressed desires to relocate to Dubai for greener pastures not by luck but social hurdles locally home. In his new song dubbed ‘Dubai’, the musician lyrically indicates the low and poor standards he is currently undergoing that have left him with no option beyond moving to Dubai for hustle.

Treka Man, popular for his popular great dancehall tunes has through the years strived for a comeback and efforts always unexpectedly lands on unfertile grounds. Never the less the bad luck has never made him lose hope in his talent, vision and mission. Today, the ‘Juliana’ hit maker is spending sleepless nights in Kampala bars and clubs not to chill out but streamlining avenues that can favorably drive him back into limelight.
The musician has told our journalist that with the lyrics and art in the Dubai song he is bound to rock again. “Am in the pipeline to retain back the lost lion’s share of fame and demand in the circuit” he said. The song portrays how Uganda’s economy is worst to house the low-income earners, saying relocating to Dubai for greener pastures is the only remedy for him addressing this as a bad not good luck following his music dreams home. He therefore addresses several challenges and pleads to the golden heartfelt personalities. In the song Treka Man pleads to a few money splashers in Kampala who have been there for the innocent talents including the Bulenga based Maama Phina and Sheikh Umar of Nansana to engage in for an upper hand and stabilizes than going to Dubai after failing locally.
It is remembered that before the outbreak of the pandemic that left almost all sectors closed, Treka Man, on addition to music performances was a cook at Mpoma College in Mukono district preparing meals for students. After the ban against schools was lifted he did not secure back the job.
