African heads of states has been advised to be role model in promoting peace and security in their country as this the only way countries can attract investors hence achieving the economic development
“No investor would like to invest in a country where there is no peace” Nashiba Nakabira, the Africa Youth Ambassador for Peace representing Eastern Africa Region said
Nakabira made the call while addressing the African Union leaders during celebration of 20 years of Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU) held at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Center (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam on Saturday 5, 2024.
The conference that was hosted by H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan, the President of Tanzania attracted different current and retired heads of states from the African

Among the leaders that attended the conference Including Former Nigeria President Obasanjo., Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, the Chairman of the Revolutionary Council of Zanzibar,. Domitien Ndayizeye of Burundi, Engineer Zena Said ,the Secretary General of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, Ambassador Dr. Moses Kusiluka,the Chief Secretary among others
Nakabira who doubles as Africa Youth Ambassador for Peace representing Eastern Africa region under the AU Political Affairs, Peace and Security department called upon leaders look at Technology, saying Technology Could be a Big Problem to the Youth in 20 years’ time
She noted that due to Careless Parents in Africa leaving youth to engage themselves in Technology and cyber systems without Control.
“Technology without Control may lead to peace Conflicts as it may result to Harassment and Send Messages which are Forcing peace breaking and War especially on Social media” said Nakabira
