International Student at Ahlul-Bayt International University has commended the Late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi for good working relationship with other countries that has enabled them study in Islamic Republic of Iran.

Students lead by their leaders ,say that because of Raisi signing the agreement and creating good relations with their heads of state, many countries including Africa countries have sent students to study in one of the best institutions in Iran, especially in the field of science.

Raisi 63 died on Sunday May 19, 2024 alongside seven others including Hossein Amirabdollahian, Iran’s foreign minister, Malik Rahmati, governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Al-Hashem, representative of the Iranian supreme leader to East Azerbaijan.

Others were Sardar Seyed Mehdi Mousavi, the head of Raisi’s guard team and the  three pilots  namely Behraz Ghadime, Mahsen Daryanaash and Taher Mostatavi and also Maraghen.

The tragic incident happened in Azeraijan forest, located between the cities of Varzaghan and Jolfa in East Azerbaijan province, where the aircraft had a “rough landing” in heavy fog 

Speaking during the prayers service for the late Ebrahim Raisi held at Ahlul-Bayt International University Prayer room in Tuesday May 22,2024 Daniel Kutoosi, a Ugandan Student said “am here because President Raisi who  signed different agreement with my country Uganda and this has enable me to study the field of choice 

‘’ The  MOU opened the doors for Uganda students and strengthened the good relationship between the two Country, saying  he has  died but his legacy will leaves hundreds years to come and pray that  God receive him with a welcoming heart ‘’ said Kutosi

It’s also noted that last year in July 2023, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi visited Uganda, Kenya and Ghana,

In Uganda he signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with President Yoweri Museveni in areas of Education, Trade, visa exemptions among Ugandans, agriculture, fisheries, animal cooperation, health, and livestock production

After the agreement, over 70 Ugandan students secured scholarships to study within Iranian Universities especially in field of   science, technology, Business among others.

Farwah Anum, the Parkistanian student said the Raisi has been a fathers for many Nations as he has been advocating for standard education, peace and unity with in the Middle East

‘’As student, have seen him advocating for the rights of the suffering people in the region ’’ said Anum

The sprayer service attracted different international student including student from Iran, Uganda, and Parkstan, Nigeria, Tanzania, Iraq, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Afghanistan, Brazil among others

The prayer service was led by the Motalebi, the head of Cultural Department at Ahlul-Bayt International University along his deputy Yadeghari

In his message, Motalebi, described the tragic loss of remarkable leaders as something that has left their nation in deep mourning and sorrow.

Raisi was a dedicated and visionary leaders, politician, widely respected for his tireless efforts to foster good neighborhoods, build confidence, and promote dialogue within the region and beyond.

“His commitment to peace, stability, and development was unwavering. His leadership and vision have left an indelible mark on our nation’s path, and his legacy will forever inspire us” Motalebi noted

The Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and others was buried on Thursday May 23, 2024 laid to rest in his ancestry home town Mashhad
