On April 12, FDC Party President also Lord Mayor of Kampala Erias Lukwago and the Party’s founding President Dr. Kizza Besigye led the FDC fraternity and other forces of Change members in celebrating the life of Comrade Sarah Eperu.
Addressing the mourners at FDC offices at Katonga, Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago said that Mama Sarah Eperu exhibited an indomitable spirit at all times and remained true to herself when championing the cause of change.
He thanked members of the Party for keeping up with the tradition of honoring fallen Comrades adding that despite his current health challenge, he had to muster all the energies to come honor Comrade Eperu because she was deserving.
FDC founding President Kizza Besigye called on forces of change to stay focused in accelerating the much needed change in the Country and avoid getting detracted by internal contradictions and differences.
Eperu was roundly appreciated by all speakers across the political divide for her steadfastness in seeking for change.
She will be laid to rest at her ancestral home in Ngora District.
