Ugandan Muslim students in Iran has been advised to remain faithful to their Allah during and after Ramadan
The call was made this morning by Hilal Mutawe, the Imam of Uganda Muslim student while giving Eid Al-Fitr sermon at Hostel Mosque Ahlul-Bayt International University on April 10, 2024
According to Mutawe said many students are facing a lot of challenges and many have lost hope but as believers, they should remain faith to Allah as the only can solve their challenges.
“Ramadan has been a month of peace, forgiveness and love, therefore let us continues with that unity even after Ramadan, let us continues with our five prayers, read the Quran, saying the Koran emphasizes, if you don’t forgive your friend Allah also will not forgive you” he noted
Over 1. 5 billion Muslims across the World stormed places of warship as they celebrate Eid Al-Fitr .Eid al-Fitr, is an Arabic word meaning Festival of Breaking Fasting after the holy month of Ramadan,
Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadhan and is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwāl.
According to the teachings of Islamic Faith, Muslims should embrace Eid al-Fitr prayers even if believers have old clothes or new clothes.
Ramadan is the ninth month, according to the Islamic calendar observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting (sawm), prayer, reflection and community. It is this month of Ramadan, that the holy book of the Quran was revealed to the prophet Muhammad.
Also fasting during Ramadan is also one of the five pillars of Islam and it’s believed that during Ramadhan the gates to heaven are open and the doors to hell are closed therefore Muslim use the holy month of Ramadhan to focus on their connection to God, reflect on their lives, and spend quality time with friends and family.
While addressing Journalists during Eid Al-Fitr announcement sheikh Salim Bbosa, the deputy director of Sharia Uganda Muslim Council (UMSC) advised Muslims to celebrate Idi according sharia law
He said Ramadan has been a training where Muslims show the highest level of discipline in fear for his or her creator (Allah), a training where the poor and the rich are equal and share that I band of Allah that’s fasting.
‘’It has been a month of blessing, where believers shared with their brothers and sisters, help the widows, prisoners and sick, saying Muslims do the same on this day”
He further argued believers to avoid bad acts that tarnish the Image of the Ummah.
