The Mufti commended the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran for consistently standing with the oppressed Palestinian people amidst ongoing challenges, contrasting with the shifting stances of some other countries on the Palestinian cause.
He further highlighted the condemnation of the actions of the apartheid regime of Israel in Palestine by the UN General Assembly.
H.E Saffar emphasized that even Israel rejects the two-state solution, which was proposed as a means to achieve a lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue.
