The National Unity Platform (NUP) party has reiterated the need to empower women.
This was emphasized during celebrations of Women’s Day hosted by the party’s women’s wing leadership at the party headquarters in Makerere Kavule.
In a statement, the party expressed their admiration for the unwavering dedication and commitment displayed by their women in advancing their noble cause.

They emphasized the importance of empowering women, recognizing them as the foundation of their ongoing struggle.
Robert Kyagulanyi, the party leader, expressed his gratitude towards the women leading the fight for freedom and democracy, and commended their resilience in the midst of adversity.
