Ramadan Mubarak
Ramadan, is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar, is one of the most sacred times for Muslims. It is the month in which it is believed that the Holy Qur’an was sent down from heaven “as a guidance for men and women, a declaration of direction, and a means of salvation.”
Reciting the Quran is mandatory for every Muslim upon his or her buzzy schedules, because it was revealed to the prophet Muhammad SAW during this holy Month of Ramadan.
According to Imran Ssali, the Secretary for Religious Affairs at Uganda Muslim Councils says it looks bad for the Muslim believers to finish this Holy month of Ramadan without reciting any words from the Koran yet, is the foundation for Muslim Ummah

He narrates; Ramadan is divided into three phases. The first 10 days reflects Rahumah, believers asking Allah to forgive their sins, the next 20 days Magifil,(God’s mercy ) requesting Allah to have mercy on you on the time of judgment, and the last 10 days, is to ask God to raise you from Jahannamah(Hell).
He called for peace and unity as prescribed from the Quran which encourages peace and unity, quoting Prophet Muhammad that in his regimes, he did not divide believers but instead united them.
He cited the people of Medina city and Mecca city who used to be enemies but now believers start at Medina and then proceed to Mecca, which reflects unity among believers.
He emphasized women to love their husband, work together and support them where necessary, saying the family that has peace can observe development.
