The Special Forces Command (SFC), under the leadership of Gen (Rtd) Yoweri Museveni Tibuhaburwa, the President of Uganda and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces, has recently undergone significant changes.
These changes include the reassignment of Col. Allan Matsiko, who previously served as the director of intelligence in the SFC, to as the commander of the 303rd Brigade.
Additionally, Col. Asinguza Muserebende, the former director of SFC’s training, has now assumed the role of Commander of Special Forces Group One (1SFG).
Furthermore, Lt. Col Bagonza, who has been promoted to the rank of full Colonel, has been appointed as the new Commander of Special Forces Group Two (2SFG).
In a statement by the Army Deputy spokesperson, Deo Akiiki, it was also announced that Col. Chris Seruyange has been appointed as the Director within the SFC.
The SFC, known for its exceptional training, is responsible for providing special protection to President Museveni, his family members, and other important government installations. Additionally, the SFC carries out special operations when necessary.
