With only few hours to the peak of the Busoga Royal Wedding, Steven Keddi, the Chief Executive Officer of Keddi Foundation has donated 2 bulls to Stanley Banyoole, the father of bride Jovia Mutesi as a boost for the Royal kasiki Inhebantu (Queen) Miss Jovia Mutesi
His Majesty William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope the IV is set to officially wed his Inhebantu (Queen) Miss Jovia Mutesi tomorrow on 18th November,2023 at Christ’s Cathedral Bugembe and later host he’s guests at a reception at the Kingdom’s Palace located within the same vicinity.
Keddi handed over the bulls to Stanley Banyoole, the father of bride Jovia Mutesi.
According to Keddi the symbolic donation of the animals was an added gesture to his earlier cash donation of Ugx 56m towards the Busoga Royal wedding which he made recently.
He noted that his foundation staff had been invited by Banyole who is also the RDC of Bulambuli District on a special ‘meet and greet’ moment as one of the well-wishers of his daughter’s wedding to the Kyabazinga, having donated generously towards the wedding.
Keddi said the invite was a great honor for him and the foundation at large and that it only marked the beginning of their long-term relationship with the Busoga Kingdom. He said the invite was partly also just a courtesy calling for them in line with their foundation’s aspirations.
He hailed the parents of Mutesi for raising such a beautiful, well-groomed and natured daughter that was now slated for the crown “Queen” of Busoga.
Keddi also commended Busoga Kingdom and Kyabazinga for spearheading youth development programmes and said he would support them in future in regard to such aspects and programmes related to the youth and girl child.
“As a foundation, we are very pleased and honored to be associated with the Kingdom and we wish the monarchy and the people of Busoga a happy and fruitful marriage”, their dear King, Keddi said.
“As a symbol of our gratitude I’ve also donated two bulls for the “Kasiki” for friends and well-wishers of the Kyabazinga and he’s Queen, as they welcome their marriage”, he added.
Bayoole could not hide his emotions as he hailed the Keddi foundation for their pledge and donation. He thanked all the individuals, Companies and well-wishers who had blessed the marriage of he’s daughter Mutesi with their many endless gifts, and cash pledges.
Meanwhile the people of Busoga sub-region are in high spirits warming up their dancing shoes for a night of bliss and merry-making, ready to dance the night away before the wedding of their Kyabazinga (King).
The wedding of the Kyabazinga William Wilberforce Nadiope IV and his Queen is slated for Saturday November 18th in Bugembe Jinja, while the “Kasiki” will be held at the residence of Banyole also in Bugembe sub-region.
