On Tuesday 14th November 2023, Uganda’s 2nd National HIV and Aids symposium kicked off with a call all to all stakeholders to fight towards ending HIV and Aids by 2030
The three days function that started yesterday at Lugogo Millennium Park formerly the KCCA grounds attracted different dignitaries including stakeholders from the medical fraternity, academia, researchers and civil society organizations was officially opened by the Milly Babaland, the minister for presidency

The 2023 2nd National HIV and Aids Symposium was organized by the Uganda Aids Commission officer of the president and supported by partners such as PEPFAR, Uganda cares, AHF, Fhi360 among.

The symposium is running under the theme “My Responsibility towards Ending AIDS by 2030 “aimed showcasing the achievements of Uganda attained in the 40-year journey ever since the first case of HIV was reported in the country at Kasensero Rakai district.
