With only one week left to the peak of Busoga Roya Wedding, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) has today contributed shs 30 million towards the success of the fourth-coming Busoga Kingdom Royal wedding dubbed “The Embaga ya Mwenemu”.
His Majesty William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope the IV is set to officially wed his Inhebantu (Queen) Miss Jovia Mutesi on 18th November,2023 at Christ’s Cathedral Bugembe and later host he’s guests at a reception at the Kingdom’s Palace located within the same vicinity.

Speaking while handing over Cash to Joseph Muvawala, the Kingdom’s Prime Minister, and the organizing committee including Al Hajj Ahmed Osman Noor, the Busoga Kingdom Second deputy prime Minister, Justine Kasule Lumumba, the Minister for General Duties Office of Prime Minister at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala on November 7,2023
The NRM Secretary General Richard Todwong said the contribution is party promoting Unity among the people of Busoga and brotherhood.

“We are here contributing the little we have and also as sign of promoting our cultural values as the Country “said Todwong
Todwong was accompanied by NRM top officials including Rosemary Seninde, the NRM Director Mobilization, Barbra Nekesa Oundo, the NRM Party National Treasurer, and the NRM Electoral Commission Commissioner, Alisemera Babiiha.
In his speech Joseph Muvawala, the Busoga Kingdom Prime Minister, applauded his gratitude towards the NRM and welcomed their contribution which he said was timely. He said they were grateful to have such interventions from friends and well-wishers of their King His Majesty William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Nadiope IV the “Omukama of Busoga”, and the Kingdom at large.

“I’d like to extend our heart-felt appreciation and many thanks to the many NRM parties who have so far shown our Kingdom and the King all the love and dedication to making his day a success”, Muvawala noted.
He said they were set and up to speed with the highly coveted up-coming wedding event which is dubbed “The Embaga ya Mwenemu” that he said would be filled with pomp and an experience of high-end ‘Royalty at its best’.
