KAMPALA
ISBAT University has partnered with C-Care International Hospital Kampala (IHK) to transform Health Care in East Africa. The move is to offer quality professional skills to the students as they become more competitive in the global market.
The historic collaboration also is intended to elevate the healthcare sector in the region to unprecedented heights, an opportunity which shall see the university medical students cross over to the Namuwongo Based C-Care IHK hospital to carry out their practical lessons.

The new development came to light recently during the signing of a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aims at solidifying their shared vision of providing students specializing in medical laboratory technology and medical imaging technology with practical training and valuable clinical placements as well as running free medical camp at which students and the nearby community members participated and donated blood as well as getting checkups for light illnesses.
The function that took place at ISBAT in Kampala saw Prof. K. Mathew, the vice chancellor signing for university while Dr. Miriam Mutero Musinga signed on behalf of C-Care IHK.
The five-year partnership shall go a long way in ensuring that students from ISBAT can seek practical skills at the hospital complex to help them enhance their potential and improve on their practical skills portfolio.
Speaking after signing the MOU, Prof.Mathew said that the new MOU signifies a groundbreaking milestone in the realm of healthcare education as it shall offer aspiring Bachelor of Science students in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) and Medical Imaging Technology (BMIT).
