President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today October 5, 2023 received a special message from his Kenyan counterpart, H.E William Samoei Ruto.
The message was delivered by Musalia Mudavadi, the special envoy of President Ruto who also doubles as the Prime Cabinet Secretary of Republic Kenya.
During the meeting President Museveni and his guest discussed the issue of strengthening the East African Community (EAC) cooperation.
Mudavadi also made a similar visit to different East African countries and was early this week in Bujumbura where he met the President of
Burundi, H.E Evariste Ndayishimiye.
Present in the meeting were, Rt Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs, Henry Okello Oryem, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs among other senior government officials.
