“We shall not participate in the fighting of the FDC, instead let us join Government in sensitizing people in the fight against poverty’’ said Wagoma
According to him, they have crossed to NRM not because they want money but to work with the Government in transforming the communities.
Wagoma’s joining of NRM comes after the continued fighting of FDC members, where Katonga faction accuses Patrick Amurit and Nathern Nandala Mafabi of Najjanankumbi for not being transparent, and ferrying suspicious bags of money.
In the fighting, the Najjanankumbi faction barred the chairman of FDC Wasswa Biriggwa from holding any meeting at Party head Quarter and in a comedic way, Biriggwa was thrown out the Party head headquarters using a back door fence.

The Katonga faction called the Extra Ordinary Delegates Conference where they suspended the party President Eng Patrick Oboi Amuriat and appointed the City Lord Mayor and party Vice President in charge of Buganda Erias Lukwago as the Interim President.
The conference also suspended the party Secretary General Nathan Nandala Mafabi and the Treasurer Geoffrey Ekanya, appointing Harold as the Secretary-General and Francis Mwijukye as the Treasurer.
Their appointment did not bar the Najjanankumbi from organizing the party Election, Patrick Oboi Amuriat was nominated to contest for the positions of party president while Nandala Mafabi as the secretary general.
