Politicians have been advised to use friendly language that promotes unity among Uganda rather than dividing them.
The call was made by Hellen Seku, the newly appointed head of the National Secretariat for Patriotism Clubs in the office of the president during congratulating ceremony organized by members of the Buganda upon her achievement as the head of Secretariat held at Lweza Forest Park Wakiso District recently
According to Seku, Politicians should focus on issues that develop the Country, issues that unite people and give them hope rather than making them lose hope hence putting the country on disaster.
“We all have the responsibility of having a peaceful Country, therefore we should be mindful of want we talk’’ said Seku

She noted that bombast language can seriously endanger national cohesion, especially as politicians ramp up public rallies ahead of Uganda’s upcoming general election.
She advised young people to be careful and examine the messages by political candidates before lending their support,
She Promised to work with youth especially in tackling the problems by them in the country and the need to educate them about patriotism, saying there is need to change the minds of the youth especially in the outlook because the time of the country is in their hands.
She thanked President Museveni for the new responsibility given to her as the first woman to hold the office and the first young woman to serve in the office

He promised to continue working with Ugandans, especially the youth, to change the image of the country and increase their love for their country.
The function attracted different leaders including Rogers Bulegeya who thanked President Museveni for entrusting Seku with the new task, Frank Gashumba, the head of Sisimuka Uganda, who applauded President Museveni giving opportunity to young people.
Hellen Seku has been private secretary to the President in charge of youth who have coordinated youth including Journalist, she is a no-nonsenses lady in terms of what is right for others
